Most parcel-receiving services flat-out refuse freight, pallets, and anything too heavy to carry — many parcel services won’t take large items at all. In Out Parcel does, as long as it’s human-liftable (we don’t have a forklift on site). Here’s what we take, what it costs, and how pickup works.
What We Accept
- Freight and pallets — as long as it can be lifted by hand off the truck.
- Large TVs
- Couches and other furniture — including Wayfair-style deliveries.
- Tires
- Other oversized items that simply won’t fit in a locker.

What It Costs
Normal receiving fees are based on weight, starting at $4.25 for packages under 20 lb and running up to $18 for 81 lb and over. Freight and pallets work a little differently:
- Freight fee: $25 per 2 days.
- Pallet disposal (if you don’t need the pallet itself): $10.
- Box disposal: starts at $1.
- Tires: charged the lower of the normal weight fee or $8 per tire — see how tires are charged for the full breakdown.
Where It Goes While You Wait
Our largest lockers are 18 × 20 × 80 inches (rectangular) and 22.5 × 30 × 24.5 inches (square). Anything bigger than that — freight, pallets, a couch, a big-screen TV — goes to our staffed shelf instead of a locker. Storage terms are the same as for any package: the receiving fee (plus the freight fee, if applicable) covers the first 14 days, then storage renews weekly.
Picking It Up
Oversized items are picked up at the counter during staffed hours: Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–4:30 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. See the full walkthrough in how to pick up your packages.
Can’t make staffed hours? After-hours pickup for oversized items can be arranged on request — just reply to the arrival notification email and we’ll set it up. Our on-site fitting/change room also doubles as a self-serve bay for oversized items when you need a private space to sort or repack.
